If you like your floral arrangements with a touch of personality, this is the vase for you. The Vase has Two Faces is a collaboration between two of our favorite makers — the iconic French ceramicist Astier de Villatte and celebrated designer John Derian. As with all of Astier’s ceramic creations, this footed vessel was handcrafted in their Paris workshop using locally-sourced black terracotta clay and handcarved plaster molds — a time-intensive process that dates back to the Middle Ages. Once fired and coated in the brand’s signature milky white glaze, it’s finished with a vintage illustration of two handsome gents positioned face to face. (A clever nod to the classic optical illusion?) Curious and elegant all at once, it’s perfect standing solo as the art piece that it is — but also equally lovely filled with fresh cut stems from the garden!

Non-furniture Merchandise
All books, candles, plants and bath products are final sale. All other non-furniture items can be returned for a full refund, as long as they are returned within either 30 days of purchase if bought in store or 30 days after the order was received if bought on our website. We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a refund to the same credit card used for original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your credit. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
