With swirls of color and plenty of painterly texture, our French Abstract Painting Tray would make a welcome addition to any art-filled home. We created this JH exclusive in collaboration with renowned designer and artist John Derian, who, since 1989, has delighted decor enthusiasts everywhere with handmade decoupaged goods crafted from his expansive collection of curious 18th and 19th century images. Inspired by Derian’s process and our own love for all things vintage, we sourced the composition featured here from the personal collection of our very own Chief Creative Officer, Devin Kirk. “I brought this rare round canvas painting home from Provence,” he shares. “Its unusual shape and scale made it impossible to pass up. This plate version is almost identical in size!” Derian and his skilled team of artisans have expertly reproduced this one-of-a-kind find under handblown glass in his NYC studio, creating a beautiful decoupaged dish that captures every brushstroke and unique characteristic of the original artwork. Right at home hanging on the wall amongst other vintage works (or fellow pieces from the JH x JD collection!), this tray would also make a lovely addition to a tabletop vignette, where it can stand alone or act as a catchall for all manner of items.

All other non-furniture items can be returned for a full refund, as long as they are returned within either 30 days of purchase if bought in store or 30 days after the order was received if bought on our website.
